About the Project

In this project the foundation will provide monthly rations to 30 low-income families in the target group who depend on the foundation to provide basic or supplemental food supplies. 

The foundation’s operations are partially financed by St. Maarten Development Fund and the R4CR grant will be supplemental to this.

About the Organization

The Bishop Ellis Foundation (BEF) is a faith-based organization that has been actively providing food bank services to the community for approximately 20 years. They predominantly cater  to single parents, the infirm, the elderly and persons living below the poverty line irrespective of their religious affiliation.
