In this project CIFSEF will provide training to 45 persons in 5 different areas of interest with the goal to increase employability of working age persons and decrease social/digital isolation of seniors.
The grant will be used to upgrade one of the two classrooms, purchase necessary equipment, pay for instructors and course materials including consumables. Courses to be offered are computer classes, smart tech for seniors, baking, crochet and sewing.
The Caribbean Institute for Social Education Foundation (CIFSEF) was established in 2004 and aims to help rank-and-file workers upgrade their skills and improve their value on the job market. CIFSEF also caters to the general public including senior citizens.
