Adult literacy is a hidden problem on Sint Maarten and there are no reliable figures on the amounts of persons living with literacy issues. HUHCF took over the Adult Literacy Program from another CSO and has created a warm and safe environment for the students that has accelerated their learning. With the extension of this program the students will be able to finally integrate into society and no longer be excluded due to their literacy issues.
Hearts United Holistic Care Foundation was born out of the love for service to mankind. Established in September, 2020 in the midst of what many will call a downturn in the economy. This foundation represents the resilience of a people knitted together with a heart of love to serve beyond borders.
Hearts United Holistic Care Foundation is a non-profit organization which is established to provide a holistic and conducive environment with direct focus on providing care and support to the elderly, individuals and family units on St. Maarten and the surrounding islands.
Support may take the form of feeding, mentoring, counseling, seminars / trainings, rehabilitation and elderly care to shut-ins and those that are in need.
