HUHCF has previously received 2 rounds of financing from R4CR for the Adult Literacy Program (ALP). This organization has done a great job with this vulnerable group and created a conducive environment for the students to excel. The results of the program and impact on their lives have been great.
The new program will focus on advanced students and will be co-financed by the Ministry of VSA thereby taking the first steps towards sustainability via government financial support.
The new project will build on the progress already made and focus on digital skills, reading/ writing at a higher level and financial literacy for 15 advanced ALP students.
Hearts United Holistic Care Foundation is a non-profit organization which is established to provide a holistic and conducive environment with direct focus on providing care and support to the elderly, individuals and family units on St. Maarten and the surrounding islands.
Support may take the form of feeding, mentoring, counseling, seminars /training, rehabilitation and elderly care to shut-ins and those that are in need.
