No Kidding With Our Kids Foundation (NKWOKF)

NKWOK has transformed a plot of land in St John’s Estate into a productive garden showcasing different forms of sustainable agriculture as an educational experience for the after-school programs and other interested groups. In this second stage the foundation will build upon their experience and expand the activities while bringing more children in contact with plants and teaching them respect for nature.

The grant will be used to purchase the materials needed for planting such as planters, soil, water tank and staff. In addition, a gazebo will be erected on the land to provide shade, a toilet and an area where presentations and lectures can be held.

100 children in the after-school program, 20 persons from the nearby Sister Basilica Center who use the garden for extracurricular activities and other persons who receive produce from the garden will benefit from this program.
